OK, I ne'er believed I'd be posting in a tale about a rottweiler, since I am more of a "cat- person," but here's one I find rather amusing.
We have been married for nearly thirty years now and have possessed every kind of pooch possible. Our pooch of choice was a rottweiler dog but when we had children we never seemd to have enough money left over to afford one.
I was given a Worker's Comp settlement a year ago this past December and opted to get a rotweiler.
We called one of our rottweilers Sandy and usually took him out on short road trips so he would familiarize myself with his surroundings before we took him on the longer hauls.
"Stephen," as he was referred to when talking to Sandy, determined it was too difficult bringing a young dog out with him, so she finished up resting home.
Every Friday evening when Stephen returns home, one of our rottweiler puppies Sandy is so excited to see him that he can barely get in the door. I am sure your dog goes bananas when he sees you if you have been departed for a bit.
Now Sandy likes to lick people as Stephen found out much to his surprise one day. Stephen was seeing telly by himself, fiddling with the remote control changing channels when Sandy determine he should get a good licking, so she ran over and stuck her tongue on Stephens face, I was in the corner crying with laughter.
Sandy loves when other people visit her home and the things she get up to are amusing. Her party trick is to veil behind the sofa then jump out when they are least awaiting it. There are lots more but I will forget those to another day.
